“Tonryu” Kitashirakawa Main shop:東龍 北白川本店
History of Tonryu
“Ramen Toryu” was opened on Kita-Shirakawa Street in December 2000. The shop was created in the image of a restaurant in Southeast Asia where anyone with a fun, delicious and open atmosphere can feel free to visit.
Of course, because the location is in Kyoto, the “Wa” element was incorporated, resulting in a mysterious space.
Speaking of wonder, [Toryu Soba] is a yellowish soup. Morimoto, the owner of the restaurant, is a masterpiece created by the delicateness of Japanese food craftsmanship and stubbornness that does not allow compromise.
Over the course of six years, we have continued to improve and have reached today’s taste.
“Hundred years is just a meal” Please enjoy it. .
Rich creamy soup
The soup is a toro-flavored salty taste made by simmering various kinds of vegetables based on pork bones and chicken breasts. Its rich taste is creamy rather than rich.
Noodles are homemade noodles
We make homemade noodles with a firm egg noodle to match the soup.
Tonryu soba uses curly noodles.
Home farm rice, carefully selected safe vegetables
All the rice used in Tonryu is made by Nobuo Morimoto, the father of the owner, in the rice fields of Kuchiki Village.
As well as leek and leek, soup uses carefully selected vegetables, so you can enjoy with confidence.
