Ramen “Masutani” Kita-Shirakawa Main Shop:中華そば ますたに 北白川本店
A well-established ramen shop that has been in business for over 70 years
This red signboard, “Ramen Masutani”, located on the Shirakawa Hydrophobic on Imadegawa Street near Ginkakuji, is a landmark.
There are many customers who go over three generations.
A representative shop of Kyoto Ramen, a back fat chacha.
Founded in 1947. A long-established store that has been in operation for over 70 years.
There is a Kyoto Ramen Koji store at Kyoto Station and a goodwill store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
The menu is ramen (medium / large), pork noodles (medium / large), rice and pickles only.
At Kyoto Station’s Kyoto Ramen Kouji store, there are thick-cut char siu noodles, dandan noodles, and grilled rice.
The head office is super simple.
Ramen has been loved by Kyoto people for many years
The soup is an old-fashioned back-fat chicken gala bran soup with lots of back fat.
Extra fat is removed, and the taste is lighter and richer than it looks.
Soft, straight thin noodles, the richness and saltiness of the soup,
I’ll go for a meal with thrill.
