Ramen “Yokozuna” Kisshoin Honten(main shop)ラーメン横綱 吉祥院本店 koko
Ramen Yokozuna has its roots in a ramen stall that started in 1972 by founder Tsugikazu Kawano.
After that, in 1977, “Ramen Yokozuna” was opened in Kichijo-in, Minami-ku, Kyoto as an actual store. That is the current Kichijoin main shop.
Yokozuna, which became a limited company in 1981, has steadily increased the number of stores, and as of January 2019, it has a total of 41 stores in Aichi, mainly in the Kansai area, and in Chiba.
It features a pork bone soy sauce based soup. Seafood sauce is added to the vegetable ramen. The table is equipped with garlic pepper, pepper, grated garlic, vinegar, ramen tare (soy sauce), so you can change the taste of the soup to your liking, and a limited time menu with Miso ramen and Tantan noodles May be provided.
It is operated by a central kitchen system in which all menu ingredients are prepared and delivered to all stores at the Kyoto head office factory.
All stores provide unlimited onion service.
